Next up is Checkers, the resident cat living with
(who also has a great Substack about the animals in our lives). Her daughter found him at a gas station 5 years ago scurrying through the grass by himself, pulling his faulty legs behind him. He walks with an uneven gait, isn't able to jump to the countertops unless driven by some aromatic morsel, but his mousing skills rival the best.
This is Milo from Melissa L. He is rescued floof. He had scratch on his nose, but he is all nursed back to health now.
And finally for this edition… wait… did you hear that? Do you feel those vibrations? It’s chonky Cattasaurus Rex: Horatio (aka Foo Foo, Hoho, Ray, Hot Potato, Jorge), who mooches off his human Valentina T.
